CANCELLATION POLICY.
Standard Function Cancellation Policy for The Angry Dog.
Thank you for choosing The Angry Dog for your upcoming event. We understand that plans can change. This cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our business, as we dedicate staff, space, and resources exclusively to your booking once it is confirmed.
1. Confirmation & Deposit
To secure your booking, the following payments are required:
No upfront charges: $300 deposit
Total bills under $500: 100% payment.
Total bills greater than $500: 50% deposit.
A deposit secures your reserved space and will be refunded or deducted from your final bill on the day of the event.
Balance payments are due no later than 14 days prior to the scheduled function date.
2. Cancellation Timeframes & Fees
The following fees will apply if your function is cancelled after the deposit has been paid. These fees contribute to the loss of business and allocated resources associated with holding your reservation.
More than 30 days before the event: Your initial deposit will be forfeited.
Between 14 and 30 days before the event: A cancellation fee of 50% of the estimated total bill will be charged.
Less than 14 days before the event: A cancellation fee of 100% of the estimated total bill will be charged.
3. Final Guest Numbers
A final guarantee of guest numbers is required no later than 14 days prior to the event. This number will be used to finalise staffing and seating arrangements. While we will make every effort to accommodate last-minute increases, this guaranteed number cannot be reduced.
4. Postponement
If you wish to postpone your event, we will gladly work with you to reschedule to an alternative available date within the next 3 months. All monies paid will be transferred to the new date. If a suitable new date cannot be agreed upon, the standard cancellation fees outlined above will apply.
5. Our Cancellation Rights
The Angry Dog reserves the right to cancel any function due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as government mandates, extreme weather, or issues with the venue. In such a rare event, all monies paid will be refunded in full.
